VIGAN, ILOCOS SUR

Vigan is the first City in Ilocos Sur... They say "a glimpse to the past" since the Heritage is very beautiful... My family used to visit the place almost every weekend. We go here to attend the Catholic Mass...

It was March 2009, when I invited my friends (officemates) to visit my beautiful province... and here are some of our escapades :

It was me, with Maricel & Shali, on our background is the famous Quirino Bridge (a bridge connecting Bantay & Santa, Ilocos Sur...  you need to pass through here before reaching Vigan City)

We are inside Chavit's Baluarte in Vigan City (oh dba, close kami) :D

me, with ate JA walking around Vigan City
Vigan City is not  so BIG, you can walk or ride in an old form of transportation which is the Kalesa

that's me, asking Lolo how much is a Kalesa ride around the city
So affordable, I think wayback 2009, it was only Php250/hour, and Manong will tour you around the tourist spots there
Here's the "Heritage" by night... so beautiful...

On my background is the Vigan Cathedral or the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral

the two babi enjoying empanada!!!

And a trip is worthless without a taste of the delicacy in Vigan...  that is Vigan Empanada, got no photos of Vigan Longganisa, Chichacorn, Bibingka (Rice cake), etc.
